The Annual Report 2023 highlights SEND GHANA’s unwavering commitment to advocacy, social protection, health, education, public financial management, and agricultural development. This year, SEND GHANA continued to empower communities, advocate for policy changes, and drive sustainable development, impacting thousands of lives across all 16 regions of Ghana.

Key Highlights

1. Health & Social Protection – Advocated for a Public Health Emergency Fund, improved access to HIV services, and trained youth in sexual reproductive health advocacy.
2. Agriculture & Food Security – Strengthened smallholder farmers’ resilience through climate-smart initiatives, gender-responsive budgeting, and advocacy for fair cocoa trade.
3. Education & Youth Empowerment – Reintegration of out-of-school children, capacity-building for educators, and advocacy for education financing.
4. Governance & Public Financial Management – Promoted budget transparency and empowered citizens to track public expenditure through community-based monitoring.
5. Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment – Trained women leaders in agriculture and entrepreneurship, championed gender-responsive budgeting, and increased women’s participation in governance.
