Description

The goal of the project is to promote smallholder’s farmers inclusion in the 5 components of Ghana Planting for Food and Jobs Campaign in the 2018-2019 plans. Specifically, the project seeks to increase farmers knowledge about opportunities it offers, engaging government on selection criteria, making inputs into the 2019 Budget Statement and tracking government expenditure on the five components as well as engage in evidenced based advocacy with the view to improve effectiveness of the PFJ campaign and increase the participation of smallholder farmers. The project is working directly with smallholders’ farmers in the Eastern Corridor and Middle-Belt.
