Suspected cases of Yaws and Bilharzia in school children at Sokonya as reported by the community health volunteer.

CHMC commits to;

1. Organize school clinics and home visits to screen all community members of Sokonya for suspected cases.
2. To report the DHMT of any identified suspected cases.
3. Organize community wide health education on Yaws and Bilharzia in all surrounding villages on their causes and treatments.

Suspected cases of Yaws and Bilharzia in school children at Sokonya as reported by the community health volunteer.

Two (2) cases suspected cases of Yaws have been treated. With support from the DHMT, screening will be held between 2^nd and 11^th October.

The DHMT convened sub district sensitizations on Buruli Ulcer, Leprosy and Yaws for the Community Health Nurse and traditional authority. Following this, community members were also educated in May, 2018
