1. To train Community Maternal Champions (new recruits) to act as agents in undertaking further down streaming of information on maternal health, through peer to peer sensitization in order to engender the needed impact at the wider grassroots level.

2. To provide a refresher training for old champions

3. To also sensitize Maternal Health Champions both new recruits and old ones to incorporate into their sensitization issues on taxation.

1. Community maternal health champions demonstrated their understanding of the communication tools as well as issues on taxation during the plenary session (Group practical).

2. Old champions shared experiences with the new recruits as to the strategies, successes,challenges as well as lessons learned

3. Maternal health champions (new recruits)indicated their resolve to reach out to majority of people through the knowledge they have acquired and expressed confidence in drawing experiences from the old champions in achieving significant results in terms of the down streaming.

4. Old champions renewed their commitment to continue the sensitization until the battle against maternal deaths are won.
