To build and enhance the capacities of citizens to participate effectively in the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects being funded by DDF to ensure effective utilization and sustainability of projects.

1. A total of 95 citizens were adequately sensitized about DDF and were also made to understand that unlike DACF, the qualification for DDF are based on performance assessment. This singular criteria inspired the citizens to challenge the Assembly to always put in their best to ensuring that they qualify for the grants since that will mean more development for the district.

2. Citizens also expressed their willingness to demand accountability from the respective stakeholders by doing monitoring with the view to ensuring that all projects claimed to have been constructed by the Assembly using grants from the DDF really exist and are put to proper use.
