To build and enhance the capacities of citizens to participate effectively in the planning, implementation and monitoring of projects being funded by DDF to ensure effective utilization and sustainability of projects.

1. A total of 116 citizens benefited from the sensitization and out of this number only a handful of them (3) knew about DDF.
2.Projects undertaken with DDF funds were made known to the citizenry with some of them promising to monitor to ascertain the existence of such projects
3.Traditional authority had the opportunity to make known some developmental challenges to the authority with the assembly promising to take them on board for onward consideration
4.The areas in which assembly utilize its funds were also made known to the citizens.
5.The area council executives and the unit committee of the area were questioned as to why an account is not yet opened for the area council
6. Ghana AIDs commission staff also took the opportunity and used the platform to educate the people on HIV and Aids as well as distributing free condoms to the adult population.
