  • To address emerging issues from SEND GHANA’s monitoring and district dialogues on the FSUP
  • To secure commitments from regional level stakeholders and deliberate on key action points to consider around sustaining the programme

Output
  • The FSUP report and emerging issues from district dialogues were shared with 29 participants from various education directorates and MMDAs.
  • Participants also shared issues/recommendations which should be put forward to government in a bid to improve the intervention’s effectiveness.

 

The following commitments were also secured;

  • The regional logistics officer pledged to write to the Ghana Education Service for samples of the uniforms to be made available to serve as a basis for standards and specifications of received uniforms to be compared. This will be discussed with other regional logistics officers in order to garner their support
  • The Ga South Municipal Director of Education also pledged to tailor issues with the FSUP intervention during its Conference of Directors of Education (CODE) conference for redress. This meeting usually comprises Ministers of State and other national level stakeholders.
