  • 36 Smallholder farmers and CSO representatives were trained on how to analyze agriculture sector budgets using growth rates, ratios and inflationary trends.
  • Participants were also trained on how to develop advocacy messages for CSOs, media, parliament and the Ministries of Finance and Food and Agriculture on ways of improving the sector’s budget and actual disbursements.
  • SEND-GHANA pledged to assist small holder farmers in publishing their articles on the sector’s budget.
