• Share and discuss findings of the FSUP research with district level stakeholders.
• Elicit commitments from stakeholders to address issues raised and build consensus to provide support for the implementation of commitments.

• A total number of 21 (15M, 6F) stakeholders in the district had the opportunity to be shown the findings of the FSUP research report.
• Commitments were also elicited from these stakeholders to enable them address issues raised in report.
• Through the dialogue, we were also able to build consensus from all stakeholders to provide support for the implementation of commitments.
• An action plan was developed (as shown below) for effective follow up on commitments by stakeholders

Emerging Issues

• The question of deprivation was extensively debated as to what basis a school or a pupil could be considered deprived. This to a large extend is left to the discretion of the classroom teachers and circuit supervisors. It was recommended that Traditional Authorities should be involved in the selection of deprived pupils since they know the family leniency of most pupils in their community.
• Largely, participants also bemoaned the fact that the production of the uniforms was centralized in Accra which accounted for most of the problems associated with the policy such as wrong labeling and wrong sizes. A call was made for government to review the policy and decentralized the process especially in the sewing of the uniforms.
