1.Discuss and deliberate on findings of 0.5% allocation to HIV and AIDS report with stakeholders

2.Deliberate on ways forward to optimize the use of funds allocated to HIV and AIDS activities, increase funds allocated and gather commitments from stakeholders to improve HIV and AIDS related activities in the district

Output
·         The Municipal AIDS Committee (MAC) will ensure deepened collaboration between assembly, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Community-based Organisations (CBOs) to participate in discussions to inform the formulation of GAC expenditure guidelines

·         Orientation on the guidelines six monthly for the assembly especially the MAC and other stakeholders. The DCMC will play a role to prompt the MAC  of the orientation

·         Use HIV ambassadors to help raise funds. DCMC will put in writing an MOU to be signed by the ambassadors and the assembly

·         The HIV Focal Person’ office will write letters to corporate entities to call for support to HIV activities

·         NGOs (SEND GHANA) should provide fiscal support to PLHIV groups

·         CSOs should collaborate with assembly (MAC) should organise vocational training for PLHIV to help generate income to support them.

·         The representative of the HIV Focal Person will follow up on negotiation with MoGCSP to enroll poor PLHIV on LEAP and other flagship programmes.
