Purpose	Increase citizens’ awareness of what the budget is and its importance; national and local budget cycle and calendar as well as avenues for CSO interventions; how citizens could contribute to the budget and in holding Government accountable during their implementation. Increase citizens awareness of the opportunities/entitlements offered to them in 2017 on education and health; how resources would be generated for its implementation; and progress made so far in the 2016 budget.

Output	100 citizens were sensitized on the National and District Budgets. Citizens had an increased awareness of the national health and education sector budgets. It afforded citizens the opportunity to make inputs into budget implementation at the district level.
