• What appeared significant and worth noting is the fact that, the Assemblies largely showed commitment and interest in the exercise in terms of their level of participation and their readiness to collaborate and cooperate with Accountability institutions in so far as it genuinely seeks to promote efficiency and transparency in the management of public funds. Currently, three (3) out of the four (4) Assemblies namely, Sissala East DA, Nadowli-Kaleo DA and the Lawra DA have submitted their responses, with the Wa Municipal Assembly committing to send theirs by close of week.

• The dialogues also served as a reminder to the Assemblies that have not acted or may not have attached considerable amount of seriousness in implementing the recommendations to now do so, especially, knowing that at the end of the day, the responses will be put together and published as a report.

• The dialogues were relevant and timely in the sense that, it coincided with the Supreme Court ruling that ordered the Auditor General (AG) to recover all monies that had been misappropriated by the various MMDAs. This will actually arouse and inspire the Assemblies to act.
