By fostering collaboration and holding the government accountable, we aim to create inclusive, resilient agricultural systems that support community development.<\/p>\n<h3>Our Approach<\/h3>\n<p>SEND GHANA\u2019s flagship program in agriculture, <strong>Food Security Through Co-operatives in Northern Ghana (FOSTERING)<\/strong>, has been instrumental in promoting sustainable food systems, increasing income, and enhancing gender equity since 1998. Implemented in partnership with the Ghana Co-operative Credit Unions Association (CUA) and the Co-operative Development Foundation of Canada (CDF Canada), with funding from Global Affairs Canada and CDF Canada, the program focuses on the resource-poor Eastern Corridor of Ghana. By empowering local communities through cooperatives, the initiative has significantly improved food and nutrition security in beneficiary areas.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/sendwestafrica.org\/nu\/gh\/what-we-do\/\">Key Projects<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>SEND GHANA implements various agriculture-focused initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive development, food security, and policy advocacy.
