{"id":2733,"date":"2020-04-07T12:03:51","date_gmt":"2020-04-07T12:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sendwestafrica.org\/nu\/?p=2733"},"modified":"2020-04-07T12:03:51","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T12:03:51","slug":"observing-social-distancing-during-child-welfare-clinic-at-the-atua-government-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sendwestafrica.org\/ghana\/observing-social-distancing-during-child-welfare-clinic-at-the-atua-government-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Observing Social distancing during Child Welfare Clinic at the Atua Government Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By: Samuel Atter, SEND Ghana Focal person, Lower Manya district<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although there is a clear directive from the Eastern Regional Health Directorate outlining safety measures during immunization and CWC, monitoring visits to the Atua Government hospital facility in Lower Manya Krobo, reveal weakness in implementation.<\/p>\n<p>A visit to the facility on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, during CWC revealed that about 50 clients and their children, waiting to be attended to were in close contact with each other. However, there was some distance between clients being attended to and health workers.
