These sessions, held on 25th and 30th March 2020 were held both during day time and evenings in order to reach a large number of inhabitants. To enhance comprehension of the education, three languages were used \u2013 Twi, Ga, and Hausa. Madam Jane Amerley Oku, Executive Director of Janok Foundation deems these education sessions as her organization\u2019s social responsibility. She also indicated that she is concerned about the people of Sabon-Zongo in the light of COVID-19 due to noted overcrowding in the community. In this regard, she anticipates that the education could reduce overcrowding at designated places within the community and also limit the spread of COVID-19 should a community member contract the diseases. The education sessions centered on handwashing, the need to avoid crowded places and some tips for the partial lockdown.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In recognition of this initiative, it is not surprising that Madam Jane Amerley Oku was recognized as a member of the Sabon-Zongo COVID-19 operations team on 1st April 2020.
